Massachusetts Wood Producers Association P.O. Box 455 Northampton, MA. 01061 Telephone- 1-413-296-4546 Our
industry has a long and proud tradition of being an independent,
self-reliant, "I can do it myself" group of businesses. But that "go it
alone" type of attitude has now come back to make the attack on our
industry a real threat to our future.
The
wood products industry and all our associated businesses needs to have a
unified voice to make the people in Boston who make the policy that
affects our livelihood listen to us rather than the people who want to put us out of business. ![]() The MWPA is working
hard for your interests, but we need all the support we can to fight for our
industry. Also please consider joining the Massachusetts Farm Bureau
Federation. Forestry is defined as agriculture in Massachusetts and Farm Bureau
is 6,500 members strong. Adding their voices and clout in Boston in support of
forestry is a wise investment.
